Biography:
Jessica conducts research and writes for AMS Production Group in Dallas, TX, as well as teaches introductory video production at The University of Texas at Arlington. She has an MFA in documentary production from the University of North Texas (2006), degrees in English and Radio-TV-Film from the University of Texas at Austin (BA/BS 2000), and teaching certificates in English/Language Arts and Speech for grades 6-12.

Jessica is also a writer with experience in successful grant proposals for documentary films, narration, magazine articles, academic papers and presentations, and visual literacy curriculum for grades 6-12. She has taught introductory video production at the college level and English and Speech for grades 8-12. She is the recipient of multiple academic scholarships and several grants for documentary production or associated travel. She is a member of International Documentary Association, Association for Independent Film and Video, Women in Film & Television International, and University Film and Video Association.
